智行基金会介绍

整体概述
Overview

智行基金会在香港注册为合法慈善团体。“智行”的含义是把智慧付诸于行动。智行基金会的理念是运用知识于行动，帮助受艾滋病影响的孩子上学，并且对弱势群体进行艾滋病的预防教育。智行基金会已经在国内开设了办公室，包括北京、上海、广州、河南、安徽、昆明。

The Chi Heng Foundation is a charity registered and based in Hong Kong with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Henan, Anhui, Kunming and Chnegdu. It is a non-government organization whose programs are funded by private donors, businesses, and partner NGOs. “Chi Heng” means “wisdom in action”, and at CHF we believe we must use our knowledge to help people in need.

Our Mission

智行基金会的宗旨是通过为受艾滋病影响的孩子和弱势群体提供帮助和关怀来创造一个平等、和谐、健康的社会。

The Chi Heng Foundation’s mission is to promote a healthy, equal and harmonious society. Our projects include the provision of education and care for children impacted by AIDS in China, AIDS prevention projects for vulnerable populations, and equal opportunities for minorities.

艾滋孤儿救助项目
The AIDS Orphan Project

上世纪九十年代初，中国内地的贫苦农民通过卖血来增加收入，却无辜感染了艾滋病。他们中的很多人在90年代末病发去世，留下无依无靠的孩子。这些孩子绝大多数并没有感染，却活在贫困之中。他们没有能力养活自己，更不用说支付学费，继续学业。
从2002年起，智行基金会为华中地区的受艾滋病影响的孩子资助学、杂费，并提供其他援助服务，让他们能继续升学，摆脱艾滋病的阴影，成长为对社会有用的人。
目前，已经有五个省18个县的8,000多名受艾滋病影响的孩子因为得到智行的帮助而重返校园。智行也支持那些无法考上高中和大学的孩子上技术学校，为他们能在将来找一份好工作而打下好基础。同时，智行还为他们的家庭提供物资帮助，并通过组织艺术疗伤、填写纪念册和夏令营等形式来改善他们的心理状况。

China’s AIDS epidemic began in the 1990s when vast numbers of poor farmers contracted HIV after selling their blood to earn extra money. Today, many of these victims have since died, leaving their children to survive alone.
The Chi Heng Foundation believes that providing these children with an education is the most sustainable way of helping them achieve a better life. Chi Heng offers educational sponsorship to over 8,000 AIDS-impacted children in 18 counties across five provinces in China. Supplemental programs include art therapy, memory book, home visits, pediatric ARV care, material assistance, summer camp and more。
艾滋病预防教育项目
The AIDS Prevention and Education Program

 外展—智行基金会在北京、大连、西安、上海、广州和深圳这六个城市开展了针对男男性接触人群的外展工作。通过动员社区本身，智行基金会招募、筛选并培训真正的热心志愿者。他们每个周末到该人群聚集的活动场所派发安全套、润滑剂和性安全小手册，与该人群深入交流来提高他们的性安全意识和艾滋病预防知识。

 Outreach — Chi Heng organizes outreach weekly activities in popular MSM venues in seven cities, including Beijing, Dalian, Xi’an, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Volunteers deliver condoms, lubricants and safe sex materials to raise awareness about safer sex and AIDS prevention among MSM groups.

 Free Hotline — Chi Heng offers free counseling, legal advice, and HIV consulting through its national hotline for gays and lesbians. Call 800 988 1929

 同性恋课程—智行基金会与复旦大学合作，已经开设了五个学期的同性恋课程，并通过同性恋议题的论文奖鼓励社会大众在该领域的研究。

 Homosexuality Course — Since 2003, Chi Heng has worked with Fudan University to coordinate China’s first accredited course on homosexuality. Chi Heng also offers an annual essay contest to encourage the general public to write about homosexuality.
